As Mahatma Gandhi said, “To find yourself, lose yourself in the service of others.” To acknowledge Bapu’s teachings and walk the path that our Nation’s father has shown to us, we commemorate the week of his birth i.e. 2 nd -8 th October, every year as the Joy of Giving Week.
The Joy of Giving campaign encourages people to give -money, resources, skills or time and experience this phenomenal feeling of fulfilment. Although, we feel that the Joy of giving shouldn’t be confined to just one week. However, this particular week encourages and inspires us to reach out to those in need by looking beyond our own self-centred lifestyle and restore humanity. If we look around, there are some compassionate people who are all round the year doing their best to lend their support, to help and uplift the people who genuinely seek society’s attention, with all the possible resources they have.
So today, Jaipur Beat acknowledges and applauds those compassionate and
courageous minds who have gone beyond their limits and are creating hope for those in need. In fact, here’s a cue on how you too can experience the Joy of Giving along with these organizations.
